IELTS For anyone who is looking forward to pursuing studies in one of his/her dream universities overseas, or having a pronounced living style with an admirable job in hand, it is mandatory to clear International English Language Testing System – IELTS.

IELTS is managed by the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, The British Council or IDP: IELTS Australia.

Who can appear for IELTS?

Both, students aspiring to study or professionals who want to migrate to countries like USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore or European Union countries will have to clear IELTS as a prerequisite measure to assess their English Language Proficiency.

How does it work?

Those who desire university entrance, take the Academic Version and those who are looking to immigrate to an English-speaking country, typically take the General Training module or SELT (Secure English Language Test) for the UK.

Format of Exam:

The test comprises of four modules - Listening, Reading, Writing & Speaking. Band score is given for each component as well on a overall basis. All applicants take the same Listening and Speaking tests but different Reading and Writing tests.
